Enable whitelist on your Hytale server

If you want to control who can and who can't join your exaroton Hytale server, you can configure a whitelist on your server. The whitelist is a list of players who are allowed to join your server. If the whitelist is enabled and someone who is not on the whitelist tries to join, they will be disconnected.

Enabling the whitelist

The easiest way to enable the whitelist on your exaroton Hytale server is by using the options page on exaroton. Just navigate to the options page and look for the whitelist option. Toggle the option to enable it. If you click on this link, you will be forwarded directly to the correct setting.

You also have the option to enable the whitelist via the console on exaroton or in-game as an admin using a command. Just type /whitelist enable.

Once enabled, only players on the whitelist and server admins will be able to join your server.

Adding players to the whitelist

To add players, there is also an easy option via our panel. Just navigate to Players and click on Whitelist. Then type in the player’s name and press Enter or click the button. The player will be added to the server immediately.

You can also do the same via command. Just type /whitelist add (username) in the console or in-game as an admin.

Removing players from the whitelist

Removing a player from the whitelist works just as easily as adding one. Navigate to the Players page and click on Whitelist. Then press the trash icon next to the desired player to remove them from the whitelist.

You can also do this via command. Just type /whitelist remove (username) in the console or in-game as an admin.

Disabling the whitelist

Disabling the whitelist works the same way as enabling it. Navigate to the options page and look for the whitelist option. Toggle it to disable the whitelist. If you click on this link, you will be forwarded directly to the correct setting.

You also have the option to disable the whitelist via the console on exaroton or in-game as an admin using a command. Just type /whitelist disable.
